
BIOGRAPHY
Alexandra D. Mulé is an associate attorney at Capetola & Divins, P.C., where she concentrates her practice on matrimonial and family law litigation. She represents clients in all aspects of divorce and post-judgment matters, including custody, parenting time, child support, orders of protection, and complex financial disputes. Ms. Mulé is known for her strategic ability to navigate high-conflict and complex matters with precision.

Ms. Mulé has quickly established herself as a strong advocate for her clients in the courtroom. Notably, Ms. Mulé recently served as lead trial counsel in a landmark matrimonial action that set historic precedent in New York. The Court in this matter held that the transmission of a sexually transmitted infection by one spouse to another constitutes a form of domestic violence. This groundbreaking ruling has been widely recognized as a significant advancement in the protection of victims of domestic violence, and underscores Ms. Mulé’s commitment to effective advocacy on behalf of her clients.

In 2026, Ms. Mulé was selected to the New York Metro Rising Stars list, an honor awarded to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the region, recognizing her professional achievement and growing impact in the field.

Prior to joining Capetola & Divins, P.C., Ms. Mulé worked for a member of the United States House of Representatives, where she gained valuable experience in public service and constituent advocacy.

Ms. Mulé earned her Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where she was a member of the Mock Trial Team and participated in the Mediation Clinic. During her time at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, she completed both a judicial internship and externship for a Justice of the Nassau County Supreme Court, further developing her foundation in matrimonial litigation. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hofstra University.

Ms. Mulé is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, including its Matrimonial Committee and Rising Stars Sub-Committee, as well as the New York State Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
