BIOGRAPHY
Michaela Stracar joined Capetola & Divins in 2022. Ms. Stracar has practiced exclusively in Matrimonial and Family Law. Prior to joining Capetola & Divins, Ms. Stracar practiced as an Associate at another prominent Matrimonial Law firm.
Ms. Stracar has participated in matrimonial actions In Supreme and Family Court of the State of New York, drafted numerous stipulations and settlement agreements, prepared motions, pleadings and has briefed cases for the Appellate Division, Second Department.
Ms.Stracar obtained her Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2020. Ms. Stracar received a Certificate of Concentration in Family Law as well as being the recipient of the Dean's Citation of Excellence in Family Law.
During law school, Ms. Stracar completed a judicial internship and a judicial externship for the Supervising Judge of the Nassau County Matrimonial Center.
Ms.Stracar is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, its Matrimonial Committee and Rising Stars sub-committee, and New York State Bar Association. Ms. Stracar is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York.
